Our story begins with Chef Luka Sinishtaj, a self-made man with a mission to share the fresh flavors and traditional dishes of Italy with the world. He opened the doors to Lukas Italian Cuisine in 1990, and the people of Bergen County fell in love with our homey and classic cooking style. Today, we are still a family-owned and -operated restaurant, with Luka himself still dreaming up creative specials in our kitchen, and his son Nick running the front of the house. Using quality cuts of meats, we cook up a number of memorable meals, including our famous 'Gnocchi Bolognese.' We consider every guest that steps into our restaurant as part of our family, which is why we look forward to welcoming everyone with open arms and a delightful meal.
